Update
KNYSNA NEWS - The search for the body of a boy who went missing in the Knysna Estuary, has resumed this morning, 31 August.
The police diving unit has resumed its search in the Ashmead Channel for the body of a boy whose canoe capsized while fishing yesterday afternoon.
His canoe capsized between at about 15:30, and he disappeared underwater thereafter and since then has not been found.
The search began immediately yesterday, but was called off at 18:00 due to a lack of light.
The diving unit then walked the Ashmead Channel at spring low tide at about 22:00 last night, in an attempt to find his body, but this search was not successful.
They have since reconvened this morning to resume the search.
