KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna police are investigating a case of negligent and reckless driving following a head-on collision between a Quantum minibus taxi and a bakkie early this morning, Saturday, 10 January.
According to Warrant Officer Christopher Spies, the accident occurred at approximately 07:10 at the White Bridge.
Preliminary information indicates that police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report from a road user.
On arrival, officers found a Toyota Quantum minibus taxi with 19 occupants and a bakkie carrying two security officials.
At least two occupants sustained serious injuries, while all those involved were transported to local medical facilities for treatment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
