KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality's council meeting took a shocking turn today (Thursday 28 May) when Acting Municipal Manager Dr Michele Gratz, Chief financial Officer (CFO) Mbulelo Memani and Ward 10 DA councillor and former deputy mayor, Peter Myers resigned.
Gratz was appointed as the acting municipal manager on 13 February 2020 after the suspension of Knysna Municipality accounting officer Dr Sithembele Vatala, whose disciplinary hearing was scheduled to commence on 12 May 2020.
According to the municipality, Knysna Deputy Executive Mayor Aubrey Tsengwa will issue a full press statement in due course.
