KNYSNA NEWS - Has an individual made your day? Has a business delivered a shining service? They deserve a thumbs up in the Knysna-Plett Herald.
Has an individual or business ruined your day? Let us know with a thumbs down.
Send your thumbs up and thumbs down (with your full name and contact details) to elaine@groupeditors.co.za or hand-deliver it at 19 Spring Street in Knysna, by Friday before the next edition.
THUMBS UP
• To guards at Pick n Pay who go out of their way to help people with their trolleys.
• To Sedgefield Towing & Recovery and JF Mouton Motors in George, thank you for your prompt, efficient and excellent service on Wednesday 7 February on the N2 near Wilderness.
• Congratulations to Esther Beyleveld and the governing body for arranging the magnificent floral art (by Annie Treet of Belvidere) that now adorns the interior of preprimary school Little Elephants, which just adds to the already homely setting. It is a delightful ambience for young learners.
THUMBS DOWN
• To Woodmill Lane where the only disabled-parking bays are found on the Pick n Pay side – what about the rest?
• To Knysna municipality. The grass is long on pavements and the bathing areas dirty. This is shocking for tourists to see. What is going on?! Walking around town, it is shocking to see the state of everything.
• To Telkom for just leaving deep trenches open. In Knysna. The fibre project. Not barricaded off. Serious health and safety risk. And also just ignore complaints about the danger of it.
