KNYSNA | BITOU NEWS - The Western Cape Department of Health is reaching out to businesses to encourage them to have their staff vaccinated.
The outreach is aimed at increasing the number of Covid-19 vaccinations in Knysna and Sedgefield by bringing the vaccinations to the businesses.
The department will visit the business to administer the vaccinations. If you'd like the department to visit your business, you can contact Margie Wacher on 082 512 9389.
As at Monday 20 June the Western Cape has seen 3 025 807 registrations for the Covid-19 vaccine, 53,91% of the eligible population.
In the Garden Route a total of 263 437 people have registered for the vaccine, 53,21% of the eligible population.In Knysna there has been a total of 37 137 vaccine registrations, which is 64,69% of the eligible population. Bitou has seen a total of 22 884 vaccine registrations, 53,85% of the eligible population.
