KNYSNA NEWS - If you needed any further confirmation as to why Knysna was named Best Dorpie in Kfm's Best of the Cape Awards, visit the Knysna Waterfront and find 160 "reasons" in the shape of two giant installations by local artists.
The permanent exhibition, Reflections of Knysna, was opened on Tuesday afternoon, consisting of two massive art pieces at the entrance to the waterfront between 34° South and the Drydock Food Co.
Approximately 50 local artists created a total of 160 artworks that have been blocked together. Works include paintings, drawings, sculpture, carvings, ceramics, fabric art and resin art.

Faith du Plessis of The Art House Knysna coordinated the ambitious project between her students and other local artists.
"We hope these works will inspire people to venture out, explore and enjoy the sights and sounds around beautiful Knysna," she said.
"Knysna is full of inspiration. This is our way of celebrating her beauty and heritage, and showcasing her most iconic aspects."
These works by The Art House Knysna Collective were originally shown at the Knysna Arts Society's Unblocked exhibition, and have now been moved to their permanent place at the Knysna Waterfront.
