KNYSNA NEWS - A Knysna real estate concern launched a competition earlier this month, Chas Bear Colouring, which saw learners from various school take part.
Participating schools included Knysna Educare Primary (previously known as Knysna Educare Centre), Riverwood Primary School and Little Elephants (and two others).
On Friday, 15 November the winners received the cuddly Chas teddy bear, and about 40 children (all those who entered the competition) including the winners received gifts. The entries were judged according to age groups, and the judges looked out for artistic creativity, effort and neatness.
One of the organisers, Tanny Morris from Chas Everitt, said he was very impressed by the artistic ability of the prize winners as well as the care and effort put into creating a lovely picture. "It was a wonderful experience working with these adorable kiddies and certainly there are some budding creative geniuses among them," he said.
