KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality, yesterday Monday 5 February, paid the learners at Stepping Stones Pre-Primary and Riverwood Primary a visit to teach them all about road safety and the scholar patrol programme.
The visit was conducted in partnership with the Western Cape Road Safety Department, said a statement by the municipality's communications team.
"This initiative is a crucial step towards ensuring the safety of the primary school learners," the statement read.
Assistant Director of the Western Cape Road Safety Department, Lulamile Lakata, and Road Safety Officer Sivuyisiwe Ngongo unpacked the scholar patrol programme with the young learners from Riverwood and Stepping Stones.
