KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna artist Stanley Grootboom showcased his exceptional artistic talent and masterful use of mixed mediums at the Old Gaol Museum 0n 17 February. 

His artworks reflected his reverence for the KhoiSan culture and served as a conduit to connect spectators to the traditions and narratives of this extraordinary community.

Grootboom's artwork also celebrated the natural beauty of the Garden Route, with its breathtaking landscapes, diverse flora, and abundant wildlife. 

His unique artistic style and meaningful themes have earned him acclaim both locally and internationally. 

Grootboom's ability to tell stories through his art transcends cultural boundaries and fosters a deeper understanding of the human experience. 

He has also made a significant contribution to children's literature, with his indigenous language children's book reflecting his commitment to preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

His exhibition has opened doors to international recognition, with his artwork featured in a documentary aired in France and Germany.
