KNYSNA NEWS - Renowned Knysna artist Stanley Grootboom has been exhibiting a collection of original artworks based on indigenous African culture at the Old Gaol Museum.
The exhibition has been running from 20 December and will close on 15 January.
The exhibition has been in collaboration with the Koena Art Institute, where Grootboom exhibited previously in 2023.
Grootboom is known for depicting indigenous culture in his artworks and has also recently illustrated the multilingual children’s book Tiqua The Great Warrior.
