PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Springbok captain Siya Kolisi had necks stretching on Monday 17 February, as he enjoyed visiting Plett along with friends from Gqeberha’s Grey High School.
Plett estate agent and media executive Lance Rothchild did not miss a moment, and snapped a selfie with South Africa’s rugby hero in Main Street.
“I saw him and greeted him and asked him if I could take a picture. He agreed and then got into a car and left.
'Admire him'
“I really admire him for what he’s done for the country and what he stands for,” said Rothchild.
Kolisi posted photographs of his Plett visit on Instagram.
Robberg hike
According to a Plett Tourism Facebook post, Kolisi and long-time friends from Grey hiked Robberg, swam in the Keurbooms Lagoon and had a meal in town.
“Look who has been taking advantage of fabulous February weather in Plett? Our one and only 2x Rugby World Cup-winning captain. Siya Kolisi,” the post read.
