KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Police have opened a culpable homicide case following the death of a six-year-old boy who was struck by a truck in Flenter Location on Tuesday afternoon, 14 April.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Warrant Officer Chris Spies, the incident occurred at about 14:00.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene after reports of a collision involving a child and a truck.
“Upon arrival, emergency personnel attended to the victim, who was later declared dead by paramedics,” said Spies in a statement.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation and no further details have been released at this stage.
