Sino selected for overseas tour

KNYSNA NEWS - Sino Lolwana, a Knysna High School learner, was recently selected by Southern Cape Sports Tours to attend the England & Wales Sports Tour: London, Cardiff and Birmingham for her outstanding achievement in hockey. The tour will take place from 30 September to 9 October.

Sino, 14, a Grade 9 learner, has been an avid hockey player since she was a learner at Riverwood Primary School.

This year she received the Best U16 Girl for Hockey award from Knysna High School. Sino's talents have been recognised by the Southern Cape Sports Tours organisation and thus she has been selected from 2 500 participants from across South Africa.

With the excitement of participating in such a prestigious tour to highlight a young sportswoman's talents also comes the responsibility of raising resources to make this dream a reality.

Sinolo and her mother, Noluthando, have been avidly reaching out to the Knysna community to help raise sponsorship funds.
