KNYSNA NEWS - The Rotary Club of Knysna's Shavathon campaign for 2025, held at the Waterfront, the Salt and Petal Café, and the Knysna Mall, has come to an end.

"This year's campaign was a success thanks to the generosity of the Knysna community," Knysna Rotary said.

"With a goal of raising R30 000, the Rotary Club of Knysna is pleased to announce that they have surpassed their goal, raising a total of R30.899.91 for CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa).

"All the monies raised go to support the work of CANSA.

"Many thanks to the Rotary Anns for all of their help with running the Shavathon.

"Thanks are also due to the Salt and Petal Café, Waterfront and to the Mall for hosting a Shavathon at their properties.

Residents supporting the campaign paid to have their hair shaved, dyed or cut, bringing a fun element to a serious cause.
