KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Yacht Club (KYC) once again proved its sailing excellence with a commanding display at the recent 2025 Finn National Championships, hosted by the Pretoria Sailing Club.
Representing KYC were five of the club's top Finn sailors: Ken Reynolds (Commodore), Dudley Isaac (Vice Commodore), Dave Shilton (five-time South African champion and defending titleholder), Georgou "Yogi" Divaris (2024 runner-up) and Jacques Louw.
From the first race, KYC sailors set a formidable standard, consistently finishing within the top 15 in every race. The highlight of the regatta was Divaris's phenomenal performance, who dominated the competition by winning all 10 races - an extraordinary feat that earned him both the youth trophy and the national title.
