PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Following their debut performances upon the Queen Victoria ship in early 2019, Opera Angels have been in demand across Cape Town and the rest of South Africa.
They create unique programmes to encompass many musical genres, and put their own special twist on many sensational pieces.
Lisa Engelbrecht and Lindsay Thomson are thrilled to return to Plett again for two new programmes, La Vie en Rose (with guest artist Thandolwethu Longo - tenor) and A Night At The Opera (with guest artist Mike Bhayibhile - bartitone).
Edith Piaf
La Vie en Rose will be a celebration of romantic music through the ages, both classical favourites and contemporary gems, of course including a selection by the inimitable Edith Piaf.
A Night at the Opera will focus on more operatic repertoire, incorporating the wonderful Mike. Expect everything from Handel to Bizet and a lovely selection of modern classics, including works with the incredible Morricone!
