KNYSNA NEWS - A case of reckless and negligent driving has been opened after a police vehicle overturned in Concordia, at about 02:00 on Sunday morning, 28 September.
According to the Southern Cape Police’s spokesperson, Sergeant Christopher Spies, the police official was on duty and had been en route to the residence of a suspect when his vehicle left the road and overturned.
“The member sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility where he was later discharged,” said Spies.
No other persons were injured during the incident. Spies stated that the circumstances surrounding the accident would be the subject of an ongoing investigation.
