The Plettenberg Bay man who was recently arrested in connection with the rape of a Jansenville teenager appeared in court on Monday 17 February.

PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The Plettenberg Bay man who was recently arrested in connection with the rape of a Jansenville teenager is scheduled to apply for bail next week after he appeared in the local magistrate’s court on Monday 17 February.

The man was arrested in Ladismith on Thursday 13 February after the incident allegedly took place during the festive season last year when young girl visited the 29-year-old suspect.

He is expected to apply for bail on 21 February.
