KNYSNA NEWS - Western Cape Premier Alan Winde and members of his cabinet visited Rheenendal Primary School on Tuesday 13 May as part of the ongoing #PremiersCycleTour2025 - a province-wide initiative aimed at connecting with communities and supporting local development.
During the visit, Winde donated bicycles to the school, bringing smiles to learners and staff. "This tour is a mission in motion," said Winde.
Prior to that, bicycles were also handed over at Phakamisani Primary School, Formosa Primary School, Kranshoek Primary School and to neighbourhood watches in the Plett region.
These bicycles will give learners safe, reliable transport to school and empower neighbourhood watches in their crime prevention efforts.
It will also encourage the use of non-motorised transport to build healthier and more connected communities.
