KNYSNA NEWS - Police detectives in Knysna have urged the public to come forward with any information that could ensure the safe return of Granville Leen (51) who lives in Fredericks Street in Hornlee.
"Preliminary investigation into his disappearance indicates that he left his place of work, a courier service, on Saturday 13 August," said Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies. "
His family was unable to trace him and reported the man as missing.”
He was dressed in a back hoodie jacket and black trousers at the time of his disappearance.
Investigations led to the recovery of the company vehicle, a Nissan bakkie, which was found abandoned on the N7 near Garies in the Northern Cape.
Anyone with information about Leen’s whereabouts is requested to contact the investigation officer, Warrant Officer James Visagie, on 044 302 6652 or 073 335 0827.
Alternatively, information could also be shared via Crime Stop on 08600 10 111 or the MySaps app. All information will be dealt with confidentially.
