PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay Secondary School has officially launched The Calm Corner Wellness Hub, its new dedicated space aimed at fostering the mental health and emotional well-being of its learners.
The opening event brought together representatives from the Eden and Central Karoo Education Department, government officials from Bitou Municipality, and various NGOs, whose presence highlighted the importance of working together to nurture the overall development of young people.
The ceremony was marked by uplifting music and an atmosphere of joy, with the new wellness hub decorated by vibrant handprints. The ribbon-cutting signified more than the opening of a new physical space: a deeper commitment to creating an environment where students feel valued and emotionally supported.
