PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou law enforcement officers proved once again that they are at the top of their came when they recovered stolen goods and also apprehended the suspect.
Lisa Nagel from Plett.Watch, a local neighbourhood watch group, said during the early morning hours of Saturday 3 December several items were stolen from a home in lower Plett when the owner unlocked a door to let his dog out.
"On Monday morning the owner's wife was out walking her dog when she noticed a local security company member asking a person where he had gotten the JBL speaker he was carrying.

Nagel reported the matter to Bitou law enforcement and within a few hours the team managed to track the suspect down and apprehend him. Upon further investigation the remainder of the goods stolen from the home were recovered.

The team received a message on the neighbourhood watch's WhatsApp group about a burglary in progress. The team responded and on arrival saw the suspects flee the scene.
