PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plett’s Chilli Festival got off to a flaming start on Saturday 17 May with celebrity chef Pete Goff-Wood leading the cooking demonstration by Do Curaçao restaurant chef Rui van Coller.
Derval Hoban of Engel & Völkers, who organised the festival, thanked everyone that contributed to the “hot” event at the Absolute Padel courts in Plett, especially the major sponsor, software company Pilot.
A number of food stalls entered into the heat of the moment and offered their fare - including chilli-infused ice-cream from Ice Cream Man Events.
Barrington's was named the winning restaurant.
