SEDGEFIELD NEWS - The Lakeside Ministries in Sedgefield was the scene of a charming memorial service for Penny Quinn on the sunny morning of Thursday 8 September.
The service was conducted by Dave Rudolph, one of the many friends that Quinn had in Sedgefield, while the organ played by Mrs Rudolph provided a beautiful atmosphere of gentle music.
Penny's husband Kevin, a golf professional, and their two children, Sean and Kerry, each provided a touching eulogy while the committal and benediction were administered by Neville Steele.
After the service, delicious snacks were provided with coffee or tea over which the congregation exchanged many stories that revealed Quinn's commitment and devotion to her faith.
