KNYSNA NEWS - Patricia Mguntha welcomed a healthy baby boy on New Year’s Day at Knysna Provincial Hospital.
The baby, who has yet to be named by his mother, made his grand entrance at 04:20 in the morning.
In addition, the boy weighed in at a healthy 3.9 kg and measuring 54 cm in length.
The hospital staff shared their excitement for the new arrival, noting that both mother and baby are doing well.
Patricia, still in awe of her son’s arrival, told the Knysna-Plett Herald that she secretly hoped for her son to be born on New Year's Day.
" I knew that I was due more or less around the 1st, but one can never be to too sure. So, when he finally came on New Year's, I was very pleased. Now I'm looking forward naming him in the days to come," she said.
