GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT NEWS - The Garden Route National Park has appointed a new general manager, Vuyiswa Thabethe, who has taken up the mantle at the beginning of this month.
Thabethe brings a wealth of experience to SA National Parks, having worked in the conservation sector for 22 years.
She has, among others, worked for the Oceanographic Research Institute (ORI) popularly known as uShaka Marine World at the SA Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMBR), Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality and Limpopo Economic Development, Environment and Tourism as director: state-owned nature reserves.
