KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Yacht Club (KYC) recently welcomed a small fleet of vessels from the Royal Cape Yacht Club (RCYC) for a three-day visit as part of the latter's 2021 Cape to Knysna Rally.
It is only the second rally of its nature that the RCYC has organised, and the small fleet of vessels departed from their docks in Cape Town on Saturday 18 September.
Participants stopped over for a day of relaxation in Mossel Bay the next day, and the fleet departed for Knysna on 21 September, arriving later that afternoon.
The guests were welcomed to KYC by commodore Mike 'Jakes' Jacobs, who also helped steer them through the infamous Knysna Heads.

They were treated to a welcome dinner at KYC that night before enjoying a three-day stay in Knysna which was spent on various activities in the Knysna area.
The RCYC fleet departed for the 'road' home on 25 September, having thoroughly enjoyed their time in the heart of the Garden Route.
