KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Montessori School is proud to announce that Zoë Metelerkamp and Matsedi Mogale have been appointed as our head girl and deputy head girl respectively for next year.
Zoë has been a pupil at the school since she started her career 11 years ago, and she will be writing matric next year. Matsedi joined the school in 2016 from Polokwane and will also complete her matric in 2019.
We are proud of our two school leaders and wish them a very happy and successful year ahead.
In Zoë’s and Matsedi’s words when asked what being a leader means to them:
Zoë: “To me being a headgirl is an opportunity to return the encouragement received from an environment that helped me pronounce those first words I stumbled over, a chance to express my appreciation for different ideas and diverse people which Montessori helped me understand.”
Matsedi: “Being a leader means being a weapon of construction rather than destruction. Understanding one’s peers is a fundamental tool for leadership.”
