PLETTENBERG BAY NEWSFLASH AND VIDEO - Three months of hard work and dedication has paid off for Plettenberg Bay crime fighters’ newest member, Blackie the German Shepherd, and his handler who passed their training with flying colours.
Blackie was in Johannesburg for several months where he received training from Tactical K9 Africa to prepare him to become the Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association (PBCPA) canine support.
His handler, Otto Olivier, also received training and had to complete several assignments and test.
The results are in for Blackie and Olivier and both did exceptionally well.
The two also returned to Plett this weekend and already started working.
Read the Knysna-Plett Herald this week to find out about Blackie and his handler.
