KNYSNA NEWS - To help raise funds for their Pen Pal Project, Radiance Lovelight Community Projects and Park held their inaugural Lovelight Festival on Sunday 26 May.
RLCPP is a nonprofit organisation based in Concordia that aims to uplift the community of Knysna through various mediums such as a community garden, early childhood development, financial assistance of children, a soup kitchen, and township tours.
While they have already made an immense difference in the community, they are aiming to enhance their community footprint as they look to expand operations to include a creche, skills development area, recycling centre, animal welfare point, and a communal gathering area.
There is also the international Pen Pal Project which they are looking to launch in association with overseas organisations to help the children of Greater Knysna develop to the best of their ability.
They unfortunately can't do it all on their own however, and in an attempt to raise money they held a special Lovelight Festival at Loerie Park last Sunday.

The festival continued throughout the day, and hundreds of members of the Knysna community came out to show their support.
Festivalgoers were treated to all kinds of fun games and foods as well as live music, while also having the chance to enjoy some locally made products.
