PLETENBERG BAY NEWS - Authorities are still urging motorists to avoid the N2 in Plett as a result of protest action near the Shell garage.
This, after the road briefly reopened on Monday evening.
Protestors have been barricading the national road with burning debris for most of Monday 14 June, 2021.
The riot forced motorists traveling through the town to take an alternative route along Airport Road.
The Bitou Municipality urged motorists on Tuesday morning to continue using this route.
It is believed that the action is about unhappiness regarding the Qolweni housing project.
