PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Kwanokuthula police arrested a 21-year-old suspect on a murder charge after an incident that occurred in Phase 5, Kwanokuthula, shortly after 19:00 on Saturday 25 October.
In a statement, Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said that, according to preliminary reports, police were summoned to the scene after a stabbing incident.
When they arrived at the home, they found a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest. Paramedics declared the man dead on the scene.
Further investigation led to the arrest of the suspect, said Spies.
Motive
The suspect remains in police custody. He will appear in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrate's Court later this week on a charge of murder.
Spies said the motive for the killing is under investigation.
