GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Henry Meyer, area manager of Agri Western Cape, the non-profit organisation for farmers, has warned motorists to avoid roads that are flooded.
Meyer farms in the Ruiterbos area and has been out today, investigating the state of the roads.
He said: "There were two vehicles, stuck, that I had to tow." Meyer sent Mossel Bay Advertiser two videos showing rivers flowing over dirt roads. He said the water might look shallow, but there was a risk of vehicles being washed away because one could not be sure of the depth of the water or how powerfully it was flowing across a road.
