GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - For the second time, Mossel Bay will be hosting provincial championships for young boxers.
The event, taking place at Barcelona Hall in KwaNonqaba in September, will feature talented young boxers from across the province, competing in two age categories: 12 to 14 years old, known as the cadets, and 15 to 16 years old, known as juniors.
The Western Cape gold medallist winners will represent the provincial team in the national games that will be held in the North West province from 7 to 12 October.
The national games coincide with the annual Mossel Bay Sports Festival, planned to take place from 5 September to 12 October this year.
