Update
KNYSNA NEWS - Shortly after ANC councillor Victor Molosi was gunned down outside his home in Concordia in July, councillors and people close to him feared for their lives, hired bodyguards and moved to places of safety.
One of them – ANC PR councillor Aubrey Tsengwa who worked closely with Molosi – had two bodyguards. It is alleged that one of them died as a result of a heart attack last week.
Numerous attempts to obtain a comment from Tsengwa have proved unsuccessful.
Knysna police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said they could only confirm that a man’s body was found at a hotel on the morning of Friday 31 August but that he cannot link the man to Tsengwa at the moment.
He said the police have opened an inquest docket in the matter and that they are investigating the matter.
