Update
KNYSNA NEWS - The four males who allegedly raped a minor girl last year took the stand in the Thembalethu Magistrate's Court on 14 and 15 May to state their version of events, and arguments were subsequently heard on 22 May.
The suspects, who were all minors during the time of their arrest, allegedly lured the then 15-year-old into a house in White Location and repeatedly raped her on 10 February. They all abandoned bail subsequent to their arrest and have been in custody ever since.
Sivenathi Nalo, Beni Didishe, Ayanda Jacobs and Beni Kope are facing charges of kidnap, attempted murder and rape.
After hearing both arguments from the state and the suspects' defence, magistrate Euginia Jacobs postponed the case to 5 June.
