KNYSNA NEWS & VIDEO - A video of a worker beating two of his colleagues with a spade in Knysna has been circulating on social media.

The video starts with the man hitting one of the two men, who faints. The aggressor continues attacking the second man who tries to fight back, until a Knysna Municipality worker intervenes.

The person shooting the video is heard saying, “Look at this man”, referring to the unconscious man on the ground.

Efforts by Knysna-Plett Herald (KPH) on Tuesday to get hold of the three men were unsuccessful.

Knysna Municipality spokesperson Christopher Bezuidenhoudt said the parties involved are not municipal officials.

“They are from a fibre installation sub-contractor,” he said.

Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Christopher Spies said no information about the incident is available.
