KNYSNA NEWS - A significant break has occurred on the main water pipeline connecting Charlesford to the Eastford pump station, which has disrupted the water supply, leading to an interruption in the delivery of water to the Water Treatment Works. 

The repair team is actively addressing the issue to ensure the water supply is restored as soon as possible.

The break in the old bulk gravitational pipeline has posed a significant challenge to the water supply infrastructure. 

The repair team is working to identify the exact location of the break and undertake the necessary repairs. Additionally, efforts are underway to source the required fittings to complete the work on the old line effectively.

Residents are urged to conserve water to minimize the strain on the water supply system.

An expected time of repair has not been supplied by the municipality.
