PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Animal activists and many Plettenberg Bay residents have decided to take a stand against a visit next week by the well-known McLaren Circus, stating animal cruelty as their main concern.
The circus is scheduled to do three shows in the coastal holiday town from 18 to 20 January.
Since the schedule was announced locals have set up a petition against the performances. This has been signed by more than 2600 individuals so far.
Ban Animal Trading South Africa has also announced protests against the circus to be held next week.
