The event featured seven official age categories:

- Mini Miss Pearl (7-9 years)
- Little Miss Pearl (10-12 years)
- Pre-Teen Miss Pearl (13-15 years)

In each category, a second princess, first princess, and the crowned title holder were recognised for their poise, stage presence and personality.
This year also marked a bold new step forward with the introduction of the Mr Pearl category, which welcomed young male contestants to the platform for the first time. The addition was met with enthusiastic support from both audience and participants.
Charmaine Kruger, director of Ace Models Knysna and Sedgefield, said the inclusion of Mr Pearl was a natural and important progression. "Pageantry should be inclusive and empowering for everyone. Launching the Mr Pearl category gives more young people a space to shine, grow, and gain confidence. We're incredibly proud of all our contestants."
To the accompaniment of heartfelt cheers, winners received sashes, crowns and gift bags as their names were announced. The celebration ended with group photos, music, and proud families capturing joyful memories.
