KNYSNA NEWS - Members of the Knysna Lions Club hosted a food collection drive in support of Changes of Knysna Soup Kitchen. Both perishable and non-perishable items were collected to assist families in need.
The initiative was made possible through the generosity of Knysna SuperSpar, that allowed the Lions to collect donations at the store.
The drive aims to support the soup kitchen during the school holiday when the demand for meals for children increases significantly.
On behalf of the Lions, Shelley Vorster expressed their gratitude to the public for their donations and to all involved in making the outreach a success.
She noted that community support remains vital in sustaining the soup kitchen’s ongoing efforts.
