KNYSNA NEWS - The traffic lights at the intersection of Main Road and Long Street in Knysna are finally fully operational again, after months of ongoing delays in the repair process and frustration for motorists.
The intersection has been without a functioning signal system since late May, forcing drivers to navigate the busy junction with caution and often causing confusion during peak traffic hours.
The prolonged outage sparked increasing concern among residents, particularly as the area is a key thoroughfare in the town. Knysna Municipality has now confirmed that the new traffic signal system has been installed and is fully operational.
"Thank you for your patience during this process,” read a media statement. "We understand the inconvenience caused and appreciate the co-operation of all road users. Please continue to drive safely."
