KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna police opened a culpable homicide docket following the death of a 36-year-old man on Saturday, 15 July.
Reports available suggest that police responded to an accident at around 13:20 at the petrol filling station at Gladstone Street, Hornlee where two pedestrians were knocked over by motor vehicle.
The vehicle involved, a Chevrolet Cruze, also collided with a Mercedes Benz which was stationary at the time.
On arrival, police found two men with serious injuries and a man believed to be the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze vehicle was also injured.
All injured parties were transported to hospital for medical care. One of the pedestrians, a 36 years old man, was declared dead by medical personnel on arrival.
