KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Municipality confirmed this afternoon, 21 May, in a statement that most areas in Knysna are now reconnected to the water supply.
A few high-lying areas are still being serviced by water tankers while reservoir filling continues.
"Residents who already have water are kindly asked to reduce their usage to support system recovery.
Some discolouration may occur, but all water samples remain compliant with SANS.
A number of pipe breaks occurred during the day and are being attended to promptly. These are routine maintenance issues and not related to the recent supply challenges," the statement read.
