KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna-born and raised Liza Aiken (33) was recently featured as Sarie's cover page face (Voorbladgesig). 

Born and raised in Knysna, she grew up and completed her schooling at Stepping Stones, Knysna Primary School, and Knysna High School. 

Aiken first entered the Sarie Voorbladgesig competition in 2017 and made it to the Top 10. 

This year, she followed in the footsteps of reigning Miss South Africa, Natasha Joubert, making the Top 5. She began modelling part-time in 2018 and is represented by D&A Model Management. 

Aiken's interests include nature conservation, architecture, and television presenting, with the goal of becoming a successful TV presenter on a lifestyle/travel/fashion programme. 

She currently lives in Cape Town and is an active member of her community, working with the Young Adults group of the Roman Catholic Church in Bellville. 

Aiken encourages others to pursue their dreams and is inspired by the resilience of South Africa.
