KNYSNA NEWS - Residents in parts of Khayalethu, Nekkies and Damsebos, Knysna, are reportedly without water today, Thursday 24 October.
According to a Khayalethu resident, some homes in the area have had no water since yesterday morning.
A resident of nearby Concordia said water in her home had been reduced to a trickle.
The municipality has been asked to provide information on the situation, and when it is received, it will be published.
Yesterday, the municipality said on its Facebook page that water levels in reservoirs supplying Concordia, Dinangwe and surrounding areas "were critically low".
"We are currently experiencing critical reservoir levels impacting the aforementioned areas," the municipality said.
"Our team is addressing the situation.
"Water trucks have been dispatched to supply water to the affected residents.
"Timely updates will be communicated in due course. Your understanding is appreciated as we work to restore normalcy."
