KNYSNA | PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Dionysus knows we need it. Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are in for a knee-slapping marathon with three high-profile SA comedians lined up to perform in the coming weeks.
Between Nik Rabinowitz, Schalk Bezuidenhout and Kevin Fraser, the two towns will have a lot of trouble keeping a straight face for as long as these three brilliant comedians grace our shoreline.
Kevin Fraser is first up on the roster, with a show in Plett this Saturday, 16 April.
The show forms part of Fraser's Local and Loud! tour which will see him perform four shows in four different towns and cities across the country.
The show in Plett will take place at The White House Venue & Theatre, starting at 20:00. Tickets can be purchased online.
Next in line will be Schalk Bezuidenhout, who will be performing at Grand Central Beach in Plett on Thursday
21 April as part of the Love Fest.
The performance will be alongside drag artist and stand-up comic Lilly Slaptsilli and will feature the perfect mash-up of drag and comedy.
The show will start at 17:00 and tickets can be bought online.
Finally, Nik Rabinowitz will round out the laughs as the only one to perform in Knysna.
Rabinowitz' show will centre around his pivot from stand-up comedian to sit-down home-school deputy principal during the initial stages of the country's lockdown.
Go and see him on Friday 22 April at the Cearn Hall on Leisure Isle. Buy tickets online.
