Karatara: A theatrical tribute to Knysna's resilience

KARATARA NEWS - The community of Karatara were deeply moved by a production of a dance drama, Karatara, that depicts the impact of the fire that killed eight residents of the area and destroyed more than 65 000 hectares between Knysna and George in 2018. 

The 50-minute performance on Saturday 14 October was staged in the Karatara Community Hall and featured Dean John Smith, Grant van Ster and Shaun Oelf. 

Attendance was free.

The Karatara Community Hall was where the production was staged.
