PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Eight homes in Qolweni in Plettenberg Bay were destroyed and another three were damaged after a fire swept through the community early this morning, Monday 31 July.

Bitou’s disaster management head, Nolan Stuurman, confirmed that the fire broke out early. 

Bitou firefighters responded immediately and managed to contain the fire. Mopping-up operations started at about 09:00.
