KNYSNA NEWS - The new year was rung in in style in Knysna, with hundreds of festinos flocking to The Knysna Experience on Thesen Islands for the Get Lucky Summer New Year's Eve celebration.

The event started on 31 December 2022, with gates opening at 18:00. 

Plettenberg Bay DJ Just Dru was first up on the roster, taking to the decks on the stage at 19:00 for an hour-long set to start warming up the event as members of the crowd slowly made their way through the gates. 

Next up was charismatic Jo'burg singer, songwriter and musician Steve Umculo, who got the crowds moving and grooving ahead of the headline set of the night.

GoodLuck had placed themselves in the middle of the evening, and brought with them endless amounts of energy to drive the crowd forward into the night with a great performance. They were followed by the brilliant and energetic Will Linley who brought with him a mix of released and unreleased songs as well as a few covers too.

East Coast electrical dance music (EDM) duo Veranda Panda were the final act of the night, taking the event past midnight and into the new year with their unique and eclectic blend of EDM and the violin.
